Wipro Positioned as a 'Leader' in Everest Group Financial Crime and Compliance (FCC) Operations – Services PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2022

Everest Group’s 2022 PEAK Matrix® for Financial Crime and Compliance evaluates 27 of the top FCC services providers, and Wipro is please to be recognized as a leader. 

According to Dheeraj Maken, Practice Director at Everest Group, the financial crime and compliance industry is evolving, with technology-embedded services via partnerships and in-house tools becoming a key focus in KYC, AML, and fraud operations. Wipro not only invested in automation-heavy alliances, it also went a step further to acquire Capco, a provider of digital, consulting and technology services to the BFSI industry. By extensively expanding its tech portfolio to enhance its FCC offerings, it has earned a Leader recognition in Everest Group’s FCC Operations PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2022.

Wipro’s key strengths identified by Everest Group

  • A balanced mix of FCC clients from across buyer segments, including a good mix of banking and capital market clients.
  • Significant investments in technology partnerships with BAE Systems, Hawk AI, and Acuminor, and an in-house model-tuning solution — Wipro has kickstarted operations in AML and is now offering FCC services across all LoBs.
  • Diversifying client portfolio by capitalizing on the demand coming from non-traditional buyers in the light of the pandemic.
